ABOUT PIND

PIND Foundation is a Nigerian non-profit organization established in 2010 with initial funding from Chevron Corporation to promote peace and equitable economic growth in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region by forging multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder partnerships at the regional, national and international levels.

Our vision is to build a strong legacy of sustainable peace and development amongst communities in the Niger Delta region.

Our theory of change buttresses the fact that conflicts increase in the absence of economic opportunities and that conflict plays a major role in hindering economic growth. It goes to say, therefore, that the one cannot exist without the other. On the other hand, the work that PIND is doing in the Niger Delta is the solution the region needs to address her issues of conflict and Economic development.
